Born in Athens Georgia, MA$$IVE is a local solo concious rap artist from an alt rock background. He debuted in the rap/ Hiphop duo known as "A Lucid Aliance," and the rap Group "Pearl Gang". In 2014, he decided to pursure a solo career Influenced by the community, culture, and sounds of small town Ga. MA$$IVE aspires to inspire with music that at first glance picks fun at all aspects of trends and pop culture to make fans ask why. His style has become synonymous with controversey, and extrovertly embodies angst and confusion with consumptuious lyrics/compositions.
Singer/songwriter, producer/ Mixing egn...you name it and MA$$IVE can do it for you. This musician is way too big to fail, and nothing can stop them from achieving the success they work so hard for.

MA$$IVE has always been an outgoing musician, but he wanted to interprit this into one solo debuting project. With the fix ( short for the crucifix) he does exactly this by focusing on the way his up-bringing. In this project release he produces the honest truth about past life experience, his family and religion verses expectations and his fanitical dedication to his craft.

This track was has a soft glow and a dark background.
it can be a club anthym a street banger and an insperational snippet all at the same time. i was influenced by hip-hop from the early 2000’s. its definitley got a heavy east coat vibe to it sylistically.
you could hear this on the radio or maybe in a commercial for something.
The track is 84 bpms in the key of F major and sounds like a drake type beat. in order to do this i fooled your mind with snare drums and claps on two three and four of every messure. since my drums are simple i made sure that the bassline got all the energy i could pour into the track with out it clipping. Now that i am reflecting on this track i feel like alot is going on because i involved a lead which follows the melody tightly and there is a riff in the song that continues on every even messuere
instead of using an 808 like i wanted to, i used a 909
and gave the kick a seperate output in the mixer.

MA$$IVE has always been heavily influenced by the creative arts that surrounded him. Growing up in Bed-stuy around graffiti artist and freestyle cyphers, he became a product of his environment. Plus his savy "gotta get it myself" attitude helps him express himself over any medium.
From playing piano to painting a portrait, this well rounded individual is a modern day golden ticket when it comes to entertainment.
